We offer spine aligning as an option on all of our shafts. A shaft is considered
to have a spine when its flex and torque vary with its rotational orientation.
Since all shafts, regardless of material or manufacturing process, have some
variation due to wall thickness, irregular weight distribution and material
impurities, all shafts are considered to have spines. This spine will cause the
shaft to flex irregularly causing shot dispersion, loss of distance and control.
By aligning the neutral plane of the shaft along the swing line of the club
(down the line of intended flight) these inconsistencies are neutralized and
will make for a more stabile feeling shaft producing a more consistent
repeatable shot with maximum distance.
